Cost and coverages
Our in-home visits are not covered by insurance plans. You can submit the invoice to your insurance company to review if you wish to seek reimbursement for out-of-network services.

What Kind of Appointment?
When scheduling an appointment with On Call Family Health, first step is deciding what type of appointment you need. We offer Telehealth (Virtual) Appointments and in-Person in-home visits for a variety of health related needs.

Please note that if you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, it is advised to call 911 or go to an ER immediately!
All appointments will require a brief call/discussion with our provider to confirm your medical needs and determination for the appropriate appointment.
Telehealth
Telehealth (Virtual Visits) are appropriate for the following types of appointments:
- Cold/flu conditions
- Skin conditions/rashes
- Follow ups
- Medication refills (on a case by case basis)
- Individuals OVER the age of 13*
If you would like to schedule a "telehealth" appointment, please call 518-249-6889 and speak to our provider, who will confirm that a telehealth appointment is approriate for your specific medical need.
Please note: Telehealth visits are available at the discretion of the provider, and may be offered if deemed approriate BY THE provider.

In-Home Visit
In person (IN HOME) are appropriate for the following types of appointments:
- Laceration Repair: sutures, staples, skin glue
- Incision and drainage of simple abscess
- Advanced wound care (wet-dry, packing dressing changes)
- Neck & Back - Pain or Strain
- Migraines & Headaches
- Burns, other Wound Care
- Ear/Eye Infections
Please call 518-249-6889 to confirm a home visit is needed for your medical needs. Our provider will confirm, by conducting a brief medical assessment before scheduling your visit.

We arrive at your home with everything needed to treat your illness or injury. Home visit include everything* needed, including the medical supplies, bandages, fluids... needed to provide treatment at that time.
(Medications and Testing Services are the responsibility of the patient.)
